Go Buy Viva La Vida, NOW!

I'm a big Coldplay fan in the first place, but their new album, Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends) is one of the best records that I have ever heard. It's about an hour long and I listened to it 10 times yesterday. I realize that sometimes, when someone you know is geeking out over something, it might make you hesitant to get into it. I mean, there's nothing worst than having high expectations not met.

So don't just listen to me you can check out a beaming review for the album here, or you can just buy it on Itunes, RIGHT NOW for only $7.99 and judge for yourself.

The album was produced by Brian Eno, who also had a heavy hand in the production of the U2 Album, The Joshua Tree (one of the other best albums of all time). Viva La Vida is a great companion piece.

I totally second this. I bought this album two days ago, and I'm so glad I did! Except that I bought the mp3s from, and it was 8.99 instead of 7.99 :(

So, listen to Anton, he knows what he's talking about, buy it soon!

There's so much that I love about this album. It feels less commercial than their previous albums, I mean, most of these songs could never be singles on the radio, and I'm ok with that. It's a little more experimental. Oh man, the African-sounding drums on Lost! just started, and my heart skipped a beat!

Ah, good to know about the producer connection with U2. I definitely got a U2 vibe from a couple of songs on this album. And that's definitely a good thing.

I need to get my eyes checked. When I first looked at the picture, I though you had photoshopped your head onto Chris Martin's.
